We take the privacy of personal data very seriously.
Mirjam Heemskerk or Adisti Sterk of Postpartum Massage Nederland only provide to third parties and only if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We only process personal data for the purpose for which they were provided and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Telecommunications Act.

WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?

When you have registered for our newsletter, have requested a download, have completed a contact form, have made a purchase or make other requests for one of our products and/or services, you will be asked to fill in your details. We only process the data that you provide to us yourself. These are the following data:
* First and last name
* Address
* Date of birth
* E-mail address
* Phone number
* Due date (only applicable for counseling during pregnancy/maternity)
* Other personal data that you actively provide

SPECIAL AND/OR SENSITIVE PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS

For a good treatment it is necessary that I, as the treating therapist, create a file. Your file contains notes about your state of health and data about the examinations and treatments carried out.
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old. Unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, we can't

check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without this permission, please contact us via info@postpartummassagenederland.nl, and we will delete this information.

FOR WHAT PURPOSE DO WE USE THE PERSONAL DATA?

The data is collected and stored for the following purposes:

  • Keeping your treatment file up to date.

  • Handling your payment.

  • Your first name, e-mail address and telephone number that you enter in a contact form will be

    used to be able to call or e-mail you if this is necessary to carry out our services. This information is also used to process your payment and to inform you about changes to our services and/or products. We store this data in MailChimp and will send you a one-time e-mail here to request permission to comply with the AVG Act. In case of no permission, this data will be deleted at the end of each month. This is also indicated on the relevant forms.

  • To inform you about changes to our services and products.

  • We use your first name and e-mail address to send commercial newsletters and

    retargeting for Facebook ads. We only do this with the data that we have obtained through signing up for the newsletter or downloading free documents, not with data that we have received via our contact or quotation forms.

    If you have registered for our newsletter, have requested a download, have completed a contact form or have made a purchase and do not wish to receive e-mail from us in the future, you can unsubscribe at any time by using the link at the bottom of the e-mail. e-mail or by contacting us.
    Your e-mail address will be immediately removed from our file and will not be saved.
    Your personal data is stored in our e-mail system and this goes through the servers
    from Mailchimp.
    MailChimp's servers are located in the United States. Your data can
    thus transferred, stored and processed in the United States. The transfer of this data takes place on the basis of the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework. More information about it

PERSONAL DATA SECURITY

Mirjam Heemskerk and Adisti of Postpartum Massage Nederland take the protection of your personal and medical data seriously and take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. These measures, including encryption through an SSL certificate, ensure a level of security that is appropriate for the data we process.

As a treating therapist, we have sole access to the data in your file. We have a legal duty of confidentiality (professional secrecy).

THIRD PARTY USE

Mirjam Heemskerk and Adisti Sterk of Postpartum Massage Nederland do not sell your data to third parties and will only provide it if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude a processor agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Postpartum Massage Nederland remains responsible for these processing operations.

The data from your health record can be used for the following purposes:

  • To inform other healthcare providers, for example when the therapy has been completed or when a referral to another therapist is made. This only happens with your explicit permission;

  • For use for observation, in my absence. This only happens with your explicit permission;

  • For anonymous use during peer assessment (also only with your permission).

    If we want to use your data for another reason, we will first inform you and explicitly ask for your permission.

    COOKIES

    Postpartum Massage Nederland only uses technical and functional cookies. And analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is placed with the first

RETENTION PERIOD

We do not store your data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it is used

We keep the data in our health file and accounting system for at least 7 years after the last treatment, among other things to comply with all our legal obligations. This data will be deleted by us within 1 year after the expiry of this obligation.

Postpartum Massage Nederland does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems, without involving a person (for example an employee of Postpartum Massage Nederland).

ACCESS, ADAPT OR DELETE DATA

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data.
In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Postpartum Massage Nederland and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you.

Withdrawing this consent does not affect the lawfulness of our data statement based on your consent, which took place before this withdrawal.
You can submit a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the
processing your personal data to info@postpartummassagenederland.nl.
To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to
enclose a copy of your proof of identity with the request. Make in this copy your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport),

passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) black. This is to protect your privacy.
We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
